    Children's 1st Gratitude Journal

    My Happy Space

A Heartwarming Children's Book on the Power of Thankfulness

My Happy Space is a primary gratitude journal for children 4-6 years old to be completed with their loved ones. The pages in this journal provide opportunities for children to learn about how to connect thankfulness for small things and happiness throughout their day. Children, like adults, benefit from the practice of mindful celebrations of their life’s small and great joys. We all live busy lives, with Puff’s help, children will learn how to slow down, take a pause, and see and remember the gifts they have all around them. When we practice deliberate gratefulness, we bring to ourselves an inner calm, peace, and feelings of happiness.

    Step's Of Gratitude Journal

    Step 1: Introduction to Gratitude:

Begin by explaining the concept of gratitude to the child in a simple and age-appropriate manner. Help them understand that it's about appreciating and being thankful for the good things in their lives.

    Step 2: Choose a Journal

Select a gratitude journal that appeals to the child's preferences. It could have colorful illustrations, spaces for drawing, or prompts that resonate with their interests.

    Step 3: Personalize the Journal

Allow the child to personalize their journal. They can decorate the cover, add stickers, or write their name. This personal touch makes the journal special and encourages a sense of ownership.

    Step 4: Establish a Routine

Set a regular time for gratitude journaling, such as before bedtime or during breakfast. Consistency helps integrate this positive habit into the child's daily routine.

    Step 5: Be Supportive

If a day is challenging and it's hard to find something positive, reassure the child that it's okay. Encourage them to focus on even the smallest moments of joy.

    Step 6: Adapt as Needed

As the child grows, adapt the journaling process to match their evolving interests and cognitive development. It should remain a positive and enjoyable experience.
